CANARD-DUCHENE BRUT ROSE

$59.00

In 1860, Victor Canard, a cooper, and Léonie Duchêne, from a family of winemakers, met, fell in love, and began making champagne. Their success led to the creation of Canard-Duchêne Champagne House in 1868.

In 1890, their son Edmond Canard took the reins, expanding internationally and supplying champagne to Tsar Nicholas II’s court. This led to the adoption of the Russian Imperial Family’s two-headed eagle emblem and the tradition-linked sabre in their coat of arms.

The third generation, led by Victor Canard, continued the legacy. Recently, Canard-Duchêne joined the Alain Thiénot group, securing a strong position in the French market while expanding globally. With a selection of 60 out of the Champagne region’s 300 crus, they create fruity, balanced, and rounded wines year after year.
