DAVID ARTHUR ESTATE PROPRIETARY RED 2018

David Arthur Vineyards is a Napa Valley wine producer located on Pritchard Hill. The estate’s property was attained by Don Long from the late 1950s to the early 1970s, acquiring almost 405 hectares (1000 acres) atop one of Napa Valley’s claimed ‘lieux-dits.’ It was not until 1978 that Don and his son, David Arthur, began planting grapevines – Chardonnay specifically – and not until the 1991 vintage that the winery produced its first red wines. Today the estate is best known for its high-elevation Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Sauvignon-based wines, notably its flagship wine Elevation 1147.
