Domaine Dugat-Py Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru 2008

Domaine Dugat-Py is renowned for its meticulous vineyard practices and commitment to organic farming since 2003, which sustain the health of the soil and vines. With an average yield as low as 30 hl/hectare and many vines over 65 years old, the estate emphasizes quality over quantity. Replanting is done using their own vine stock, and harvesting is intentionally early to preserve freshness. In the cellar, Loïc Dugat follows a traditional Burgundian approach, producing deeply colored, concentrated, and elegant wines designed for long aging. Using natural yeasts, stem inclusion, and minimal intervention, the wines are fermented in cement and wooden vats before aging in new François Frères barrels. Domaine Dugat-Py is celebrated as one of the world’s premier producers of vin de garde Pinot Noir.
