La Spinetta Vursu Vigneto Campe Barolo 2007

La Spinetta is a highly regarded Italian producer based in Piedmont, best known for its single-vineyard Barbaresco wines, Barolo Campè, and Pin, its Nebbiolo-Barbera blend. Founded in 1977, the estate began with Moscato before expanding into reds with Cà di Pian Barbera d’Asti in 1985, Pin in 1989, and Barbaresco Gallina in 1995.

The winery is known for ripe, polished wines that can be enjoyed young or cellared. La Spinetta farms older vines, limits yields through green harvesting, hand-picks grapes, and avoids chemical fertilizers and pesticides, with much of the estate farmed biodynamically. In the cellar, modern techniques and French oak barriques are used to produce its distinctive style.
