Serego Alighieri, a renowned Venetian estate, boasts over 650 years of winemaking tradition in Valpolicella. Founded in 1353 by Pietro Alighieri, son of Dante, it remains at the heart of the estate. The marriage of the Alighieri family with the Serego family in 1549 led to the name Serego Alighieri. Throughout history, the family has championed agricultural reform and vineyard cultivation. In 1973, they joined the Masi Group, focusing on innovation in winemaking techniques. Today, the estate, inhabited by 21 generations of Dante’s descendants, stands as a symbol of Valpolicella’s spirit and excellence in viticulture.
