PLUMPJACK RESERVE 2018 CHARDONNAY

PlumpJack Winery is located in Oakville, in California’s Napa Valley. Like many producers in the region, it is famous for its Cabernet Sauvignon wines made in the foothills of the Vaca Mountains.

The estate covers 17 hectares (42 acres), encompassing well-drained hillside sites to the rich clays on the valley floor. This is where PlumpJack sources fruit for its two highly regarded Cabernet Sauvignon wines, and the diversity of terroir gives winemakers plenty of options when it comes to blending. Fruit is also sourced from grower vineyards in Carneros, Rutherford and Calistoga to make a range of varietal wines from Syrah, Merlot and Chardonnay.
