RAMEY RITCHIE VINEYARD 2018 CHARDONNAY

Ramey Wine Cellars is a Californian wine producer, located in Sonoma’s Russian River Valley. Founded in 1996 by David Ramey, it produces a collection of wines sourced from multiple Californian AVAs (American Viticultural Area) with Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah the primary grape varieties.

David Ramey is known for his pioneering work in creating the style of Chardonnay that California is famous for today. The richer, full-bodied style is created through the use of indigenous yeasts, prolonged sur lie ageing, and the use of malolactic and new oak barrel fermentation.
