TENUTE DEL CABREO ‘CABREO IL BORGO’ IGT 2017

Tenute del Cabreo is a producer in the located in the Chianti Classico zone of Tuscany. It produces a range of Toscana IGT wines made from Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The estate consists of two distinct properties, one near Greve and the other in Panzano. Fattoria di Zano, near Greve, has 50 hectares (125 acres) of vines that supply the Il Borgo cuvée. This is typically a 70:30 blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in French oak barrels with around 30 percent new oak for 16 to 18 months. The vineyard also supplies the raw materials for the Grappa Il Borgo.
